Breezing Forms - Change Appearance of Captcha Image

I've been using Breezing Forms, and it's predecessor, Facile Forms as my preferred Joomla form extension for years. For a developer, it offers the perfect framework to make custom and complex forms within Joomla. Its only real drawback is that some configuration tasks can be confusing for the uninitiated.

how to change the appearance of captcha in breezing forms for Joomla.

If you hate the big red and blue captcha image that displays by default, you can easily change it to better suit the ROULETTE lAJIKKEEN appearance of your form by editing this file:

In the secureimage_show.php file, you'll see well commented parameters that allow you to change the size, distortion, font, font color, number of characters, and background of the Breezing Forms captcha image.

For reference, the best way to calculate the size of a captcha is to pick a desirable height and multiply by 2.875 or pick a desirable width and health beauty shop rx multiply by 0.35.

You can also replace the default refresh button by swapping refresh-captcha.png with the icon of your choice, That image is located in the same folder as the click here secureimage_show.php file.

You can change even more parameters in this file:

Save a backup of the original file before you start editing. The code to enable multiple colors is found in lines 453 to 458.

On line 458 change:

$this->use_multi_text  = false;
$this->use_multi_text  = true;

In lines 453 through 457 you can assign the colors that should be displayed.

HOW TO change the font

The code to change the font is found on line 444 on secureimage.php.

Upload the .ttf file of the font you want to use to:

On line 444 change:

$this->ttf_file = JPATH_SITE . '/components/com_breezingforms/images/captcha/elephant.ttf';
$this->ttf_file = JPATH_SITE . '/components/com_breezingforms/images/captcha/newfontname.ttf';

How did you make that rounded box?

In your template CSS file, you need to add the following (or similar):

.ff_capimg {

     padding: 0;
    -moz-border-radius: 6px;
    -webkit-border-radius: 6px;
    border-radius: 6px;
    border: 2px solid #444;
